This is the ultimate anchor and rope package for small boats under 28'.
This anchor kit includes a hot dipped galvanized Fluke (modeled after the Danforth style) anchor along with 150' of three strand nylon rope, 6' of hot dipped galvanized proof coil chain, and two anchor shackles connecting everything together. It includes everything you need to anchor your boat with peace of mind.
The fluke anchor is one of the top performing anchors in sandy and muddy bottoms. Along with being the perfect primary anchor, this setup makes an ideal secondary anchor as it folds up for easy storage.

I purchased the 8lb Norestar stainless danforth style anchor. The anchor itself is made very well and will be trouble free for many years but the traditional anchor chock set really doesn't fit this anchor well because of the angle of the tapers of the flukes and the 90° half inch bend along the edge of the flukes to make them stronger. Norestar needs to also make available an anchor chock set that will be ideal to lock this anchor down on a bow. So if your storage will be on a bow roller then you will be very pleased with this anchor. If you plan to store the anchor on an anchor chock set then not so much.
As described by Seller. Have not used yet, but the Material is of low Quality. Shackles also low Quality. Rope looks good with good Thimble.
